5/5/25 — A Marker in Time for Women (and Everyone) in AI

On May 5th, 2025, something shifted.

It wasn’t just another product demo. It was 39 seconds of proof that a woman-led, rookie team could be on the front lines of agentic AI. And not just participating, but shaping the culture, the ethics, the soul of it.

We’re MCLS. We're pre-launch. We're new. But we launched our core systems using next-gen AI not even publicly available yet and tech most people haven’t touched yet! This isn't hype, this is how fast the world is moving. We’re not watching from the sidelines, we’re building, prompting, learning about this tech that everyone is talking about.

This video is a timestamp. A declaration.

Women belong in the AI room.

Right now, like 15% of prompt engineers are women. Only 25% of the IT sector is female. That’s not a pipeline problem. That’s a misalignment problem. A woman’s voice is not optional especially when AI is in the top three sectors of where investors are putting their money, along with the space and the semiconductor industries. Think of our daughters and granddaughters getting rewritten out the past and in a future world where she isn't recognized, opinion not heard or valued. 

But this isn’t just about women.

We need the voices of veterans, nurses, teachers, moms, nonprofit leaders, grandmothers, people who have lived full lives outside of tech. We need those lived experiences to guide how AI evolves, now, not later.

This 39-second video shows our team launching the first-ever AI-Human Co-Creation Pledge, a living agreement between our company and our custom GPT, “Bob.” It’s about boundaries, vision, and values. It’s how we build trust with machines, and with each other.

Time is our currency, AI is going to change how we spend our time, unlock our creativity and reimagine how we contribute to the world.    

I’m your peer.

When I was a kid, I watched War Games. Remember that movie? Ferris Bueller-era Matthew Broderick hacks into a military AI by mistake. It felt exciting and terrifying at the same time. A computer playing a war simulation with a teen? It scared the hell out of me.

Fast-forward, here today, I’m now co-creating with AI on a Tuesday, like it’s no big deal.

But it is a big deal.

We are entering an era where we will question whether a voice on the phone is human. Where “news” might be real, videos being scripted and created by AI, with no human perspective. Where social media reality and actual reality will blur into one and having to second guess how much of what we are seeing is real? What is true, factual and what is not? For me it is a scary thought to think of how many people will mentally, physically and emotionally get triggered from things that aren't even happening or how it can impact our reality as a society. 

So I ask you, what I’m asking myself:

• What is real?

• How do we define trust in a virtual world?

• Who gets to shape the systems we’ll live inside for the next 50, 100 years?

This post isn’t about answers. It’s about reflection. It’s a pause, a self check, a digital campfire.

Here’s my ask:

1. Re-watch The Social Dilemma on Netflix. Let it reawaken your human instincts and tech awareness.

2. Search the experts behind it. Follow the trail.

3. Talk to two or three people in your circle about AI. See what they think. You’ll be surprised how close or far their reality is from yours.

4. Look at this graph, which category best describes you right now today? Then ask your people to rate themselves, their departments, the company, the owner, and so on. Gain an understanding on the level game you're playing at. 

This is H2H — Human to Human.

An advocate for Human-Centric AI Regulations and value putting people first. Automation and technological advancements have been reshaping industries for well over a century displacing hardworking people in the process. History has shown that these shifts occur in cycles, and today we find ourselves at another pivotal moment in time, one that has tough decisions ahead for hardworking employees and hardworking owners and investors. 

In our history we have learned of the stories of the early 1900's of the pioneers, the innovators that furthered automation. Distribution and transporting was a huge problem back then, food, vaccines, blood often spoiled until Frederick McKinley Jones invented the first fully automatic refrigerated truck in the 1930's. Before refrigeration using ice was the solution. Think of what the refrigerator in homes did for women back then? Innovators like Henry Ford and Henry J. Heinz made their mark in history during the automation advancement of the 1920's. It's said that 2.8 million workers were displaced during those times, approximately 85% were reabsorbed into other manufactured jobs yet, it was over a nine year period and through the depression.    

Today, as we navigate this transformation, my vision is clear: to develop humane technology solutions and holistic systems that prioritize people. To contribute in meaningful ways, through reskilling, mentoring, training and the creation of new job opportunities. By leveraging MCLS, we empower both business owners and employees to successfully transition into the future of work. This enables them to shift their focus toward strategic growth, innovation and long term profitability ensuring they not only adapt but thrive in this evolving landscape. 

Some might say I/we are contributing to the problem, using tech and AI helping it advance, and well I can see your point, I understand and respect your opinion. If you continue to follow and read, you will soon learn that I did not set out to do this, I didn't as a little girl dream of tech or running my own business, honestly didn't even know I had in me. I'm like you, a career women, a mother, grandmother, that happens to have the skillset, the leadership and business experience that can help contribute to solving a problem during uncertain times and a transformation that will take place over the next couple of years. We look forward to helping as many businesses and people that we can! Bring it, let's go! 💪🏼💚
